Personally, my pr*yer is always that there is never a party majority in the house and senate and presidency. Because there's good ideas on both sides of the isle, and I'm always a little wary when one party gets control of everything. Because the *quality *ct was not good legislation. You can't force churches to accept the g*y agenda, and thinking you can is a violation of our civil liberties. So is forcing doctors to perform elective surgeries like *bortion or G*nder Tr*nsition. If you tell me Harriet Tubman should be on the twenty dollar bill, and not Andrew Jackson, I'll perfectly agree with you. If you tell me Bck People need to be treated better by the cops, I'll tell you take away their mustangs and give them crown vics. It's not only bck people who get abused by police. I do, too. Because of the policing culture in the country that was established post 9/11. If you tell me taxes should be higher on the top 1%. I'll agree. But, forcing things my religion tells me are sin down my throat, that makes me want to raise up my arms, and join the Tr**p movement in the street.
Understand, we all have rights. And allowing Facebook or Amazon to blanket ban books and speech is not a solve to this problem. There needs to be a check on the left's agenda, that keeps in mind the civil liberties of those of us in the minority. As that's why those liberties exist. Majority rule is not American policy. Because our founders, and even the ancient philosophers of Athens, knew that wasn't right, either.
Mark 13:51Jesus saith unto them, Have ye understood all these things? They say unto him, Yea, Lord. 52Then said he unto them, Therefore every scribe which is instructed unto the kingdom of heaven is like unto a man that is an householder, which bringeth forth out of his treasure things new and old.
