What I Learned from Ezra Pound

Cantos is difficult.
It's not meant to be interpreted.
Yet, I think the joy for Ezra
Was to see what people read into it.
And as a poet, I shall treasure this wisdom.
A person's interpretation doesn't have to be correct.
What they see in my poem is like poetry all in itself.
I get to listen, and that's truly what I want Poetry to be about.

That poetry is about sharing, and listening
And understanding. That it is an art for finding what is in another soul.
That is what I learned from Ezra Pound
