Harry Potter

The magic is knowledge.
Bloodlines of wizards
Represent racial purity.
Voldemort represents the next Hitler.
There is good knowledge.
There is bad knowledge.
Good knowledge affirms truth;
It affirms nature;
It affirms right and wrong.
Bad knowledge affirms sef interest;
It affirms will;
It affirms pleasure.

Why weren’t you angry at Star Wars
When they made Darth Vader Jesus?
Why aren’t you mad about the Force
And you call it “God”?
There’s more akin to real magic
In Star Wars, than there is in Harry Potter.
As all Magic is---really---is the choices we make.
It is the path and philosophy we set ourselves down.

Christians, these stories are important.
They were given by Providence’s hand
And were wrought by the prophets.
Every story is handed down by God
Which affirms truth.
You need not believe in magic;---
The Magic is simply the decision to be
Oneself,
Good.

Why be so offended by it?
Is it Grace? That we now are to shun all works
And all semblance of righteousness?

I know magic, and Harry Potter is not magic.
The force is---quite literally---exactly the philosophy of magicians.
But we as Christians, we follow our LORD’s path.
Which is faith and not magic.
It is not bending the forces of the natural world to our own liking,
But understanding the natural world, and discovering there is very real truth.
It is resting on the authority of Christ, and His Word and divine will upon our lives. 
And His alone.
