The Foolishness of the West

It's a question being seriously asked right now,
"Are mathematics invented or discovered?"
If this question is seriously being entertained,
Then the education system has failed miserably.

The fact that Pythagoras had discovered a theorem
Which we still use today, and the algebra we use
Is proven in all areas, including physics and engineering,
Shows that Mathematics are not invented. They are discovered.
Even number theory is discovered. Base Ten or Base Twelve or Base Seven
May be an example of different languages, yet they will always
Come to the same conclusions, no matter what system is employed.

Any invented mathematics cannot be called mathematics.
This question just proves how ridiculous the current education system has made our kids.
