Social Gospel

It is true that God has a positive effect on Society.
Yet, for those whose gospel it is to fix society
They are among the world's worst offenders.
God cares very little about society and our impact on it.
Rather, if society were to be ill, and falling apart
Even because of the Gospel being preached,
And the Gospel produced tyranny---
Like it has numerous times in the past---
Then we ought still cling to it
Not for the society's soul,
But for our own.
