What I Thought Calculus Is

What I thought Calculus is,
Is taking infinite sets
And calculating from their
Ratios a significant term.

Such thing as Xeno's Paradox,
I thought it was solved
Because both the Tortoise 
And Achilles are travelling
Through time as well as space,
So at some distance they will
Converge, based on their fractals
Of movement.
Which, taking the fractals as increasing sets of ratios
One then solves for the solution
Of where the two will converge.

What calculus is, however,
Is a combination of logical
Principles concerning certain
Basic Math functions,
And their relation to a curved line on a graph.
Which, a Slope 
Will be equal to the area beneath a curve
If multiplied by a common variable.
