Omri King of Israel

Of old, you set your statutes
And from high up, corruption
Seeps into the land. The land.
The statutes of Omri are followed
And the man of wisdom cries out,
"His ethos is unlawful! Let man
"Be at liberty, and let the rich
"Pay a fair wage to their laborer!
"Let the peoples not deal with violence
"And let all striving and contention cease!
"Give honor to God, and do what's just
"And be humble, and merciful
"And proceed with right judgment!"
