I shout, "'tis a vireo I see, so rare
"It loves to hide in the reeds."
No, 'tis not green.
A Boat-Tailed Grackle
A rare bird indeed,
With triangular tail feathers;
The tan variety I had seen.
Twice even in the same day.
It stood on a branch, making melody in the woods
As the children played their hide and seek;
It's trill and chirp was magnificent.
