The Heavenly Clock

There are various times in eternity,
Just like there are various times 
In our universe, relative to a body's mass.
Thus, there are different kinds of clocks.
As there were two clocks already mentioned,
One which measured the universe's rotations 
in terms of seconds and another in minutes,
But which, the standard clock
Is like our own, where every second
Is a year, and every hour 
Three thousand six hundred years
And every day eighty-six thousand 
Four hundred years.
And so heaven would not get boring,
Every second that strikes,
Joy, peace, and love increases by magnitudes. 
So that only a heavenly body could contain the joy;
Our earthly bodies would die if it experienced
The joys, peace or love of heaven.
There is such magnitudes, that God is infinite
And can infinitely increase our joy;
And we shall wait upon that second
That minute, that hour, that day
And be exhilarated like a child waiting
For their Easter Basket, or Christmas Present.
It shall be a momentous occasion,
Which upon the heavenly calendars---
Governed by the Moon---
We shall wait for the increases with expectation
Exceeding.
