One almost always finds, in modern times A truth claim made, that sounds entirely plausible, And then some pretentious scholar's snarky voice Behind it, adendeming that there is no evidence for it. Of which, Europeans made a good case that Aesop was black And of course, that chorus of snarky scholars rung out--- "No, if it is true, it must be decried, to make a living. "So we have an original thing to pen, for all truth is copyrighted." And the more I read about Aesop The more I see the same story being told, Meaning it must also be true, That he was a slave, who won freedom through his understanding, And apparently was a diplomat and ran off a cliff for some sort of offense. How wise is our world, to run every sage and scholar off a cliff. It is the human way. Or to bury them in poverty.
Mark 13:51Jesus saith unto them, Have ye understood all these things? They say unto him, Yea, Lord. 52Then said he unto them, Therefore every scribe which is instructed unto the kingdom of heaven is like unto a man that is an householder, which bringeth forth out of his treasure things new and old.
