Syntax and spelling errors can be a sign of extremely high IQ as well. Some people process language different, and understand things through their relations. A really smart person might not care to bother with syntax that much, and might just understand things through their universal grammar. Or might build from context clues to the meaning, and not regard syntax that much at all.
