Oh, War, I Come to You Again

Oh, war, I come to you again.
A muse in my innermost thoughts
Of why men would slaughter one another.
It was mentioned that you are fought
Because of beliefs, and that to deny
Such a thing is to deny humanity.
I look at this, and say, "There is nothing
"Human about war." Thus, I remember
The age old adages of the Stale Oxford Don;
"War is about Economics." How intelligent
Men wished for it to no be the case
To build a case for Christ on the back
Of Religious ideology. For the ideology
Is beautiful because men do fight for it?
I believe men fight for their religion.
But, only because the religion brings comfort.
It brings order, and it brings familiarity.
It so orders the world around oneself
In a familiar way, that brings just recompense
On the unjust---for most religion is about establishing
A law, by which men must live.
Then, Religion is about solidifying that law
Into the bulk of populations.
It is, yet again, another form of economics.
Why the most ugly thing about humanity
Must be awed at, as if religion were the force
Behind war. I say to those who say this
Even the well meaning advocate of the faith:
War is purely about economics.
And when men fight for God
What they truly fight for is the comfort
Of agreement between man and man
And the sacred bonds of uniformity.
That uniformity could be as simple as the color
On a piece of cloth. Men fight not for God
But they fight for the band and group
Which so identifies them.
And it is an ugly thing we ought to cut
From our flesh; though sometimes
The war is just, for the economics being fought
For were indeed comforting, and beneficial.

There is a Truth

There is a truth
To all things,
And it can be found.
In everything, there is a way
Of making them fit together
For the good of people, the planet
The plants and the animals.
It is something true to nature
And it can be found
By looking at things
And seeing how they work.
It can be found through memories
When you know times were better.
And in those times,
If you can remember,
Things were put in their proper place.
Everything was understood
And fit in its little space in the world.
And people were much happier.
They were much simpler.
Right and wrong were not argued about
But, because everyone was happy
It moved the world along and people didn't
Have the strange questions they do today.
Because everything was orderly,
And everything had its special place.
There were no big ideas
Or things that needed to change.
At least I can remember this.

One Day

Am I limited with writing
Like I am with the piano?
In the Piano, I cannot play
All the scales, nor transition
Into new movements.
My piano playing is derivative.
My notes are true;
My rhythm is succinct and on time;
Yet, am I, like with my music,
Unable to play in different scales?
Limited to a few Jazz Chords
And the same basic scaled melody?
I struggle to invent new songs
Because I don't understand melody;
It is foreign to my brain.
I cannot create melody
Because I cannot understand how.
I can appreciate it in music;
I crave it in what I listen to. But, I cannot form a melody.
I cannot play in different scales;
Only C Major, A Minor, C Minor and D Minor.
I have a basic understanding of chord progression;
But, I simply do not understand melody.
I cannot understand melody.
Is it also so with the profession I chose?

Death and David

At the pit of hell, two men arose.
The first was evil, that very death.
The second was good, that very angel
Who would overwhelm and defeat
The serpent in battle.

Both received the same command.
"Go, do what you please,
"Eat, drink, feast on women's fruits of love
"Murder, steal, do what your heart pleases
"For God has given you the desires of your heart
"Which are to sin. For the good being
"Among you two, is the one who does these things
"And the being who blasphemes,
"He will surely die the death of a sinner."

So it was said, yet was it from God?
The answer is no. For I saw this in vision
And realized the one who restrained himself
From wicked deeds, this was the murderer?
For, is it God's command to reap havoc
And destruction, and to destroy?
Was this truly God's voice speaking?

If a Word can be the sum of separation from God
What of His covenant that Whosoever believes in Him
Shall not perish, but have eternal life?
He who "Blasphemes the Holy Spirit"
That is continually reproaches the living God,
He is the one who is destined, and shan't be forgiven.
For God's commandment is not to sin.
It is not God's voice which says, "Sin,
"And show the world what all can be forgiven."
God's voice and command is not to sin
But to abstain from all sin, even resisting it
To the point of death.

Thus, it was Satan's voice which spoke
To both of the angelic beings who emerged from the pit.
And the one who sits and writes this today
Testifies to the truth, that sinners shall never be forgiven
If they desire to continue in their sin.

The Parable of the Archer

It's said that men are like an arrow
Shot from a bow
And their paths are determined
To fly true; or
Sink or raise,
And, thus, stray off the mark.

I say all men are like arrows shot by
A blind Amateur,
Who when encountering Christ
If so they chose Him,
Will miraculously
Hit Him, like an arrow might hit a rock
And divert directly into
The bull's-eye
Perfectly straight and without fail.

The Problem of Free Will

It remains true that all things
Have their cause.
We are also free to choose.
At every temptation,
At every hardship.
At every rough spot,
There is a choice between two paths,
Both paths caused by the temptation.
Which path we take,
Which were caused by the temptation
Is where humans have choice.
Nobody is determined to be a bad person;
So if a series of unfortunate events
Occur in life,
One has the choice to resist temptation;
That same person has the choice
To spill blood.

The Problem of Evil

It is precisely that men are not good
That is why there is evil.
There is nothing which says life must be suffered
Except the human proclivity to cause suffering.
The man who says, "There is so much good in humanity,"
Does not actually know humanity.
If he did, he would say something quite different
Especially if for his whole life he were on the receiving end
Of the general populace's cruelty.

Dear, Homosexuals

Dear,
Homosexuals

The reason homosexual marriage cannot be accepted, is because it is a slippery slope leading to the exact problems we see today. By you gaining your right to marry, I have lost my voice. By you being protected, I have lost the right to criticize it.

Sin is sin. And when sin takes root in a society, it overturns it and throws the whole world upside down. How many things have been done to me, and the country accepts it? It's the decadence of Rome. Something must destroy wicked institutions, and if not common law, then it is the sword which comes barreling down upon it from the Northern Lands. For a country has no right defining marriage in a context other than what's natural to human beings. Without that standard, Freedom and the fidelity of Worship and the very social fabric collapses. And that collapse comes from many different conspiracies, all working together to cause a nation harm.

Simply put, frustration brews when its allowed, and boys and girls increasingly make the choice because it is easy. The very notions of truth begin to dissolve, and at the last, there is nothing left in the culture worth standing on. Simply because a capital offense is legalized and then encouraged.

You might say, "Aha! The Sabbath is a Capital Offense!" And rightly it is. Are middle income workers gaining or losing in this economy? Oh, there's other sins in this country like greed, yet the hedonism shown in this culture is at a point inconceivable to previous generations. It is exactly what the Founding Fathers warned would happen in the society. As, they studied Rome and Greece, and they knew well that it was the decadence which lost them their right to choose leaders. And that same decadence is here in America corrupting the very fabric of civilization to a point where happiness is far away and almost unheard of.

What you must understand is that Law is a part of order. It is to be established based on what is natural to human flourishing. Laws are constructed in benevolent societies to order to produce the most amount of human happiness. When laws outright legalize something heinous and corrupt---such as murder---the society ceases to function. It, rather, falls apart. And though it lasts in name for a thousand years, it is complete misery for the people who live in it.

What needs to be understood is that every sin has consequences on the world around it. Every sin, if accepted or tolerated, erodes at the social wellbeing of the civilization. To where, freedoms are given up for the decadent right of hedonism. In exchange for pleasure, we give up our sacred rights to speak, to think and to assemble. And it is directly correlated, and it is directly being shown and prophesied to you.

I say this, having witnessed a time where men were pure. Homosexuality wasn't even a word, let alone would the concept cross our minds. Rather, it entered into the world by my sin, and also yours and others. And by that, it was given a name, and by naming the sin it became normal.

Love is so fundamental to society, and without it, society cannot be happy. When Sodomy, Catamy, Sadomasochism, Serial Monogamy or Polyamory and Paramours are accepted as normal behaviors, what of love? What of marriage? What of the solvent bonds and trust built between two partners? There can be none, because every man and woman one meets are corrupted by selfishness and the world around them. And as a result of that, nobody is happy anymore; they may have fun, but not true joy. And that is because sex is made an idol and the very Love I worship is polluted in the name of a pleasant sting. Can two men raise a child? Or two women? No. Not if those two are sexually promiscuous with one another because the sex homosexuals have is selfish. It can neither produce offspring, nor is it reciprocal.

I as your friend tell you this: Homosexuality is a sin because it is selfish. And because it is selfish, it makes people selfish. And when people are selfish, people are not loving. And when people are not loving, happiness fades away.
