The Golden Fleece

The sheep with the Golden fleece
Was tasked by a divorced bride
To bring her children across the sea
And to save them from the jealousy
Of their stepmother.
It dropped the girl into the water.
And she, unapologetically, disappeared
Without a second thought in the narrative.
