If a train were speeding down the tracks
Towards five people, and on a divergent
Track, there were only one;
So to save the five people
I had to murder the one,
I would not.
There is no conceivable time
When such a situation would occur.
Trains have horns,
I can scream,
I can wave and make a fuss.
What I would do, is scream and yell
And try to warn the men on the tracks.
How did they get there?
Obviously they were trespassing,
And if I pulled the lever
I would certainly be diverting the train down
Another path, and I'd be responsible for the
Man's murder who walked upon it.
No, I would do everything in my power
To cry out in the wilderness
That the train came,
And the foolish boys on the track
Would be there by their own negligence.
Therefore, I would have given my entire breath
To call out to them;
Yet if they be deaf to the Word,
There'd be nothing I could do,
And they would die.
Though, I would not become a murderer
For I am not going to play God.
Mark 13:51Jesus saith unto them, Have ye understood all these things? They say unto him, Yea, Lord. 52Then said he unto them, Therefore every scribe which is instructed unto the kingdom of heaven is like unto a man that is an householder, which bringeth forth out of his treasure things new and old.
