Dear, Atheist

Dear,
Atheist

If atheism were a lack of belief, why proselytize it? Since you're so technical with our definitions, proselytize has two different senses. The first is to try to convert someone The second is to promote. You are promoting your lack of belief? So, what is it called when you set out to promote or convert someone to an opinion?

Seems contradictory.

Sincerely,
B. K. Neifert

P.S.

Disbelief already means "Lack of belief." and having to create apologetically arguments to defend your position, isn't helping your cause.
