“Why Christ”, A Creed

The LORD repented when He made man.

Satan, fresh from being cast down from his bench—

So the old Fables go—

Came through the abyss to frustrate God’s Creation;

Jealous of us, the LORD’s creation. To kill us.

And, being that we were new, and like little children

The temptation was put forth.

We, who are made in God’s image

Bearing the likeness of God the Creator Himself.

We like children staring at a burning torch

Were tempted to place our fingers on the wick.

Place we did, and it set us ablaze.

God saw that we had sinned…

That the sin had wrought death

And God, fashioning His living clay,

Forged the Law through Moses.

Yet, that law was insufficient.

It had been so

That every man, woman and child were condemned to death.

For Satan was too formidable a foe

And men had not faith enough to beat him.

Therefore, after marring the clay—

For we are clay worthy of God to fashion

A lump with which He can forge,

A free and worthy lump for God to fashion

Into beings fit for a kingdom—

Yes, after marring the clay,

The LORD took upon us a new lump,

The New Creature,

The New Creation,

The New Man,

And fashioned us after His Son

The Word Made Flesh.

For God, seeing that Satan was too formidable

Must needs now fashion a lump

Himself, and place His Son upon the potter’s wheel

Not we, but He, Who submitted to the fashioning hands of the

Most High Living God.

And fashioned, we now are represented by the Son of God

So our souls can have reconciliation with the Living God.

Why do the heathen, then, say,

“Why Christ?”

When Satan is too formidable a foe for each of us?

Each of us, against a Prince,

When we were but slaves.

How can we resist a Prince?

Only through another Prince;

For Satan is the Prince of Thieves

And Christ is our Prince of Peace.

We, now, choose our Prince.

And in choosing,

All are conformed into one of two images.

Either the lump which God had marred

In His faithful hands, and was worth nothing

Or the lump of the Son of God

Which God had fashioned for us

To bear a body worthy of Eternal life

Which cannot sin.

For, we are all sinners, and cannot but sin.

This was the woeful part of God’s design

That men cannot but sin

Because of temptation;

Therefore to resist, Christ was needed.

What was a great, and wonderous creation

Was marred by us, and marred by Satan

So that it could not be enjoyed to the extent it was meant to be.

Therefore, we must be conformed into the new man

The Imagebearer of the Christ,

And therefore, be like God

Sinless, which only Christ can be.

For we all sin, but have been fashioned a body

Where Christ was our clay

And that body we take for ourselves

As a crown, should we simply hold onto the confession

Of the Faith in the LORD Jesus Christ, Alpha and Omega,

Amen.

Why There is a God

What if the world were flat?

Just bear with me here.

What if the world were flat?

What evidence could

You produce,

Concretely,

To say that it wasn’t?

You go to the age old argument about the

Greeks measuring shadows with poles, but

Given the right math,

You could easily reason it to not be the case.

If all you have are a priori arguments,

There can be just as many cohesive arguments that the world is flat

As there are that the world is a sphere.

You have to go to the evidence.

That’s where the grounds of science begins.

Well, in the realms of

Morality,

Aesthetics,

Even

Language comprehension,

The evidence

At first

Seems very natural.

There are ways in which

I want to be treated,

Therefore,

There is a way in which

To treat others.

There are things

That are naturally beautiful.

I can understand what

Someone is saying pretty clearly.

Of course, these arguments have broken down in the past thirty years.

No longer is there morality,

But there is only your subjective morality.

No longer is there beauty,

But rather beauty is subjective.

No longer is there language comprehension,

Nor the ability to accurately understand a metaphor,

But rather it cannot occur.

On first principles

We know none of this is true.

BUT—

and here’s the big but—

If men determine these things,

They [will] all get reduced to a priori arguments,

And, therefore, have nothing with which to measure

That can substantiate them.

But, in our human experience,

We know each of them to exist

—objectively.

Though, it breaks down when men determine the value of something.

Therefore, because we can observe these things

—you too—

It proves there’s a God.

It’s the very basic premise of Platonism.

That there is an ultimate good

Which determines everything.

There is plenty of evidence for

Beauty, morals and language.

The fact, though, is it breaks down

On an individual level.

It begins to become more clear

On a collective level

What is beautiful, moral or comprehensible

Until the social mores reason that away,

And that’s usually the cause of great calamities

Like WWI and the Holocaust.

Therefore, you know there are morals,

Beauty and language.

The fact that there is

Proves

That there is morality, beauty and language.

But, if it’s up to men to determine what those are,

We absolutely cannot.

That’s why there is a God

Because He determines what that

Morality, beauty and language means.

It’s why there is the concept of Word,

And in Christianity,

Jesus is that Word come in the flesh.

And the way we can test Jesus,

Is by looking at His moral claims.

Even in the Old Testament.

There is judgment for destructive and evil societies, sinners, etc.

There is blessings and rewards for beneficial societies and sinners, etc.

Therefore, the morality of the Bible is sufficient unto itself.

You might mention, “Well the Bible condones slavery.”

Consider, the slaves were all

Pedophiles, cannibals and murderers.

Then consider what to do with them.

You’d probably [just] want them killed.

But, God told the Jews to put them to work.

Much like we do in prisons—

Which is proven to make the prison population a lot less violent.

Therefore, if testing the moral claims of the God of the Bible,

They all test according to the reality

Of how actual human beings function.

The Morality is so cogent,

After analyzing it,

That to call the God of the Bible

Anything less than the Creator Himself,

It would be a hard leap.

If you study other religions,

They have similar morals,

But not quite the same morals as Christianity{}.

Each religion does not teach the same morals.

In affect,

They have similar views,

But only the God of the Bible’s actually presents itself capable of

Predicting social patterns and behaviors,

Enough to accurately predict sociological patterns,

Simply based on the moral state of [a] society.

It’s one of the reasons I’m a Christian,

Is how moral the Bible is.

Bad people are going to die.

Good people are going to be rewarded.

[You’d be surprised that it’s]

Really the only religion like it [that ever existed].

The Ostrich

Metaphor,—

Because we all have skeletons;

We are all innately violent,—

My Mind in a Vat

My Last Thursdayism

My Solipsism, my Nihilism

My Parasitic Ostrich

Is a force to combat.

Thrown into the dens of the Dragon,

Boldly come out like Daniel did.

Recognize and escape boldly;—

It proves the existence of Meta-Phore.

Recognize there is.

Each creature

Is a demon;

A sickness;

What would be called a Mental Woe.

Exorcise it from the soul

By seeing its hideous form

In my fables’ verse.

Know evil is evil,

Why it is evil,

See why it is hideous.

Then my Fool did her job

By crushing her own eggs.

The Trinity

God the Father,

God the Son;

God the Holy Spirit.

One God.

Not three.

When did this become heresy?

I will tell you.

The moment Satan stole from me

And sent a false report of me to all.

For no reason, men hate me—

Slander me—

Malign me.

They have entered death’s caverns.

I will hold onto the Trinity.

I will be saved.

I will not worship a pantheon.

I will only worship one LORD

Now and forever. Amen.

The Daughter of Zion Theologically

I come to this topic often, as I’m still trying to make sense of it. It seems she’s the one who births our Savior. In Revelation 12:13, I do believe this is the Daughter of Zion. Perhaps whom the Catholics were prophesying with their Rosary. We know Mary was not sinless, but perhaps the Rosary was foreshadowing the Daughter of Zion.

Theologically speaking, The Daughter of Zion is the promised land—the Holy Spirit, and also the gift of eternal life. Our hope should be for this Woman to give birth to our Savior. She is an integral part of our religion, being mentioned 25 times in scripture. And where it speaks of “Her sin” obviously, the mention is we the Christian; for the Daughter of Zion is the promise of eternal life. Which, Lamentations is a prophecy specifically relating to the captivity of Christians and the destruction of the Holy City; whom, having obtained the gift of salvation have, thus, sinned beyond all hope.

The woman, therefore, in Revelation is the embodiment of the Daughter of Zion, who “Travails”. This travailing is to bring forth the Christ, the Second Coming. And it is going to happen, as the words of scripture cannot be altered or changed. A prophecy must be fulfilled. The Daughter of Zion is our gift, and if we as Christians do not use our gift—do not live righteously—we will encounter hardships in hell, and be forsaken and in Lamentation. For truth, the Daughter of Zion is the gift of God—the Promised Land of the New Jerusalem—but one must not mistake her as the door to salvation. Rather, she is the blessed hope we have of our Savior’s return.

The Mayan idol blessed by Pope Francis was what Malachi and Micah referred to as the “Beginning of Sin” to the Daughter of Zion. In this sense, she is here symbolized as the Christian apart from the Holy Spirit and work of Salvation through Christ Jesus, and she represents the fleshly Jerusalem. This Mayan idol is the Babylonian goddess “Sin”; therefore, the prophecies are a literal statement about idolatry in Zion because the Pope had blessed it.

However, for the longest time, no plague was brought on the Catholics for their Mary Rosaries; one should consider this a miracle, as God works often quite blatantly through history. It could possibly be that the Daughter of Zion will give birth to our Savior Jesus Christ, and she will be made by the Holy Spirit perfect and like she has never sinned.

Jesus

Little child, taken up into the sky

With Mother Mary Magdalene travailing;

Who, like Elijah, came the second time.

Mary pushes forth her child.

The child gets swooped up

Into the clouds,

And so does Mary Magdalene

Who is given wings to fly.

I see her at the park

So beautiful, Mary Magdalene;

As though she had never sinned

As though born from the very earth of Zion.

She travails, filled with the Spirit

And our Savior is to come.

The World is not Ours

The world is Narcissism.

The Lugbutqts are a part of it.

To cleanse the world of all narcissists

One would need become the ultimate narcissist.

To gain the whole world

To rid it of all its fascists

To rid it of all its communists

All of its would be dictators

All of its would be terrorists

All of its would be Illuminati and threats to public well being.

To destroy every double agent

To destroy every Femfascist and Nazi…

To kill every murderer

To kill every rapist

To kill every adulterer

To feel like it is needed to put the World back on its alignment.

It would take a dictator of sorts

Whose vanity would exceed all that Nero ever did.

I suppose the Christians would stand in his way

Like they did in the New England Tragedies.

The world is not ours, Christians.

Let it fall apart.

Just proclaim the Gospel to every tribe, tongue and nation.

Because the world is Narcissism

And in order to win against it

One must become the Narcissist.

My Final Poem

If I were writing the last poem I will ever write

I would say these things.

The first, I have lost my faith.

Not in Jesus.

Just in His church.

The second, I have lost my trust.

Not in faith

Just in our understandings.

The third, I have seen

God in the heavens

But I never saw it taught.

The fourth, I have stopped

Hating the Catholic church

Because they watch over me.

The fifth, I have stopped

Hating my Lutheran Upbringing

Because they taught me the core of the gospel.

The sixth, I have found

Baptists hold contemptible views

About the poor and needy.

The seventh, I have found

You can read the Bible every day

And still not know God.

The eighth, I have found

That people of other faiths

Have met God, and need to know His name.

The ninth, I have found

That Christians are Jews

And everyone else a gentile.

The tenth, I have found

Traditions often

Overshadow what any text will actually say.

Freedom of Speech

Video games ought to be made.

The rating system out to be appropriate.

I love Mario and Donkey Kong.

They are like Twilight Zone and Happy Days.

When I criticize the effect of art on a culture

I say it mostly prescriptively for the audience to choose.

In that is their right to choose,

But we must be taught to choose right.

Otherwise, anything should be published.

But it ought to be clearly rated.

I say this,

Having seen the effect on culture

To ban all products that could cause trauma.

We, as parents—and as responsible adults—

Ought to censor ourselves.

Do not assent my political opinion

To want to ban video games or books

Or television shows.

Rather, we ought to simply

Raise a huge fuss about it

Like I’m prone to doing.
