Our lives of fiction

Become worlds.

 

Narcissism, the delusion,

It is what it’s called.

 

Its health

Is to relieve

Through much

Prayer, and fasting

From our sin.

 

How I felt it

When you said,

“Relieve him,”:

Then listen to me—

I prayed for that

Moment.

 

My relief shall come

When you do not

Condemn the poor.
