Save Yourself and Us

The impenitent thief said
"Save yourself and us."
Meaning he was not guilty of theft.
Why would a thief say, "Save me"
If he rightly hung upon the cross?
This is something to warn a generation of vipers.

  1. He could be guilty of theft, and of trying to lie to Jesus, who was omniscient. He would not be saved on earth or beyond. He is lost. Had he only confessed and truly asked for forgiveness. There is choice. Between the moment and evanescence there is choice, until the final moment.
