On Church Hierarchy

So there is no more debate, my brethren, for my brother and I have debated, and looked like fools—where we should be of one mind, and one spirit. Here is the ecclesiastical and spiritual authorities.

Of the Ecclesiastical Authority, that is the Church Administration, there are Bishops, Pastors, Teachers, Deacons, Sub Deacons. A bishop resides over pastors, a pastor resides over teachers, a deacon can be an administrator or teacher. Women are deaconesses, and some men not of the age of 30, can be subdeacons of which is a deaconess, who are Music Directors, Sunday School Teachers, Accountants, Event Organizers and those who tend to the littlest of the flock. This is separate from the Spiritual Gifts, and the Spiritual authority.

Of the Spiritual Authority, it is Apostle, Prophet, Evangelist, Pastor, Teacher, Administrator. That is, an Apostle has the highest revelation and the Administrator has the least, though is used for the Church. Such it is, Jude and Simon were Apostles, but not Bishops nor Pastors. Rather, they served as Deacons and Teachers. But, were highest of the authority in Christ’s kingdom. Let yourselves not be deceived. A woman cannot be a Pastor or Bishop. But, a woman can be an Administrator, Teacher, Apostle or Prophet. For the role of Bishop and Pastor must be led by a man, who can fend off the wolves, for he has great strength. Even Deborah, who was a king, could not be Priest, for the roles of Priest, Prophet and King are to be separated.

An Elder is any Christian man, above the age of 60. Treat him with respect, he earned a hoary head. Likewise, treat Elder Women with great respect, and give them steward over the Children and other Women, for here is where the most division comes from. Women instill into the little children wise teachings, and form the bedrock of the faith. For without the concrete knowledge of a Woman, a Child cannot grow wise. But, as a man, his teachers become men. And women and children are the source of all the great divisions. Be cautioned.

Of the gifts, you have heard from Paul that God gave first apostles, then prophets, and then teachers, and then miracle workers, and then healers, and then helpers, and then governors, and then those who speak another language. For, each work’s effect, let none divide the gifts, the authority and the spiritual knowledge. One is Power, one is Wisdom, one is Mercy.
